About the role:

Are you passionate about driving people-focussed initiatives and projects? As a People Projects Advisor at Onecom, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the People team by executing key initiatives that enhance the employee experience and align with our strategic objectives.

You'll provide actionable, data-driven insights, manage people projects, and drive continuous improvement within the People function.

• Proven experience in a similar operational HR role
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS, with strong analytical and data skills
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
• Ability to influence at all levels and manage stakeholder expectations
• Experience creating and implementing reporting dashboards

Key responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Head of People to define, implement, and refine regular and ad hoc management information (MI) and reporting
• Provide analysis and insight from People reports with recommendations to the Head of People and other department heads
• Help drive organisational performance by providing data-driven insights and tracking performance against critical metrics
• Quickly analyse data and form robust conclusions to guide decision-making
• Develop, maintain, and deliver HR dashboards and reports to monitor key HR metrics
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of strategic People projects
• Identify and lead projects focused on enhancing employee engagement and improving staff retention
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and communication strategies
• Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
• Support the Head of People in managing relationships and performance with project sponsors and stakeholders
• Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by the Head of People
• Work with the Payroll Manager and People Assistant to ensure accurate and compliant payroll
• Develop, maintain, and update People processes and services
• Ensure People systems are utilised efficiently, identifying opportunities for automation
• Oversee the end-to-end administrative processes of the employee lifecycle
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve team performance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Promote a positive work environment and collaborative culture
