Responsibilities

As the SMB Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth for our SMB segment across the APAC region. You will lead a team to execute multi-channel performance marketing campaigns, optimizing for lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Key to your success will be generating high-quality, net-new leads for the Inside Sales team, managing external agencies to optimize digital performance in Japan, Korea, China, and driving increased website traffic, downloads, leads, and SMB revenue.

Direct report to the Global VP of Performance Marketing (Germany) and dotted line reporting to the APAC VP of Marketing (Singapore)
Collaborate closely with the Inside Sales team (Adelaide, Australia) and the Global Performance Marketing team (e.g., paid search, SEO, paid social media) based in Germany
Lead a team of two: a content specialist and an Inside Sales campaign operations specialist
Own and drive SMB Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth through effective performance marketing strategies
Design and execute targeted campaigns to support Inside Sales teams in generating net new business, upselling and cross-selling
Generate high quality leads for SMB business
Responsible for engaging with agencies in Japan, Korea and potentially China to execute paid media campaigns and drive leads, downloads and online store billing
Work closely with local marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding
Develop and execute multi-channel performance marketing campaigns across various digital channels (e.g. Google ads, Yahoo ads, Facebook ads, Naver ads, Baidu ads, LinkedIn ads, and programmatic advertising)
Continuously monitor campaign performance metrics (click through rate, conversion rate, return on ad spend) to identify optimization opportunities and implement A/B testing working with agencies
Manage and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo) to streamline processes and improve campaign efficiency
Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and regional marketing managers to execute campaigns and analyze performance
Leverage data analytics to inform marketing decisions and measure impact of campaigns
Prepare performance reports, including key metrics, insights and recommendations
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in SMB lead generation and performance marketing within digital/e-commerce or B2B SaaS-based tech companies
Strong attention to detail and execution skills
Experience working closely with Inside Sales teams to generate leads, understanding SMB ARR business models and e-commerce dynamics
Solid understanding of the full digital media mix, including SEM, SEO, content marketing, online advertising, programmatic display, social media advertising, and optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Familiar with tools such as Dynamics, Marketo, Tableau, Adobe or other CRM/automation systems
Proven experience executing campaigns across the APAC region, including Australia, Japan, Korea, and China. A proactive and independent work style
Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA or master’s degree is a plus
