**Job Title: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Political Science**

**Location:** Modern School, Vaishali, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

**Position Type:** Full-Time, Permanent

**Job Summary:**

The PGT Political Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in political science to students in [Grade 11th and 12th]. The successful candidate will develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a positive learning environment. This role requires a deep understanding of political science, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and support students.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in political science that meet curriculum standards and engage students.

- Teach a variety of political science topics, including government structures, political theory, international relations, and public policy.

- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback and support.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the political science curriculum and share best practices.

- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.

**Qualifications:**

- Master’s degree in Political Science or a closely related field.

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field is preferred.

- A valid teaching certification

- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in political science or a related subject.

- Strong knowledge of political science concepts, theories, and current events.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.

**Preferred Attributes:**

- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.

- Experience in extracurricular activities related to political science or civic engagement.
