Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the mechanical design and development of new products from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure product success.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to support product development decisions.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and engineering drawings.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in mechanical design processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably in the healthcare or consumer electronics industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER) and FEA analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
