Job Responsibility

Pick-up activities

To pick-up customers’ consignments on time and in perfect condition in line with the depot targets and service standards.

· Execute con-note with readable addresses, number of pieces, weight and measures, name and signature, sender, account number, sender, description goods, service level.

· Check that the shipment is correctly addressed, and the con note number is written on the shipment in the form of Box label.

· Check that all necessary labels are affixed, that goods are not damaged and that they are correctly packed.

· Check if goods are compatible with vehicle.

· Report any discrepancies and immediately inform the Supervisor

· Ensure all relevant status codes are updated in Criticalog’s systems within 1 hour (thru mobile application) as applicable for completed or incomplete tasks.

· Maintaining an accurate record of all packages picked up from shippers.

· Offer advice and assistance with packaging to avoid damages

Delivery activities

To deliver customers’ consignments on time and in perfect condition in line with the depot targets and service standards.

· Ensure that the full consignment details are mentioned on the DRS prior to attempting delivery

· Verifying addresses and locations before each delivery to ensure that there are no errors.

· Deliver to the person as the DRS / Con-note, on the mentioned delivery address by taking all requisites on the POD and inform Supervisor & update delivery details thru mobile application when delivered

· Supervise / observe the unloading process wherever possible to prevent damage during transit, and ensure DRS is signed and a legible name obtained from the receiver.

· Follow the payment on delivery process (COD) when applicable.

· Scans connote for POD.

· Maintaining an accurate record of all packages delivered to recipients.

· Ensure all relevant status codes are updated in Criticalog’s systems within 1 hour (thru mobile application) as applicable for completed or incomplete tasks.

· Report discrepancies and immediately inform Supervisor of negative status code.
