Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plasterer / Multi-Skilled Technician to join our busy Property Repairs team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in plastering who is also comfortable performing additional day-to-day property maintenance tasks.

As a Plastering Repairs Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out plastering and rendering maintenance in our tenanted properties. You will be involved in both interior and exterior work, ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standard and within the target response times. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the quality and safety of our properties, contributing directly to tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out all plastering maintenance work unsupervised, ensuring high standards and compliance with regulations.
• Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials.
• Prepare, install, and finish plasterboard layouts, including levelling and straightening surfaces.
• Create decorative textures and finishes, ensuring a professional and uniform appearance.
• Perform additional minor maintenance tasks as required, contributing to a first-time fix whenever possible.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, reporting any unsafe practices or conditions.

Qualifications And Experience
• Relevant City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ2, or significant experience in plastering and related trades
• Apprentice trained or at least 5 years of experience as a Plasterer
• Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices
• Full manual UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service
• Experience in rendering and the ability to carry out additional day-to-day maintenance tasks.
