Plumber| Skilled Labourer

PRIMARY ASSIGNMENTS:
• Installing, repairing, and completing connections for sewer and water pipes, plumbing fixtures, and other systems.
• Assist in exposing sewer and water services, including jackhammering and hand digging.
• Assist in sewer and water line repair and replacement projects (CIPP, relining, sleeving, service pulls, open trench repairs, pipe bursting, etc.).
• Identify and locate leaks.
• Install backwater valves/ backflow preventers.
• Complete thorough inspection and testing of plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance; including sewer pipe camera inspections and water line pressure testing.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract; personal reliable transportation.
• Experience with residential plumbing. Knowledge of sewer and water line tie-ins, ability to conduct water meter moves, disconnecting and reconnecting hot water tanks and furnaces, installation of backflow preventers and other residential plumbing.
• Experience with drain cleaning (augering and jetting) will be considered an asset.
• Experience with CCTV sewer camera inspections will be considered an asset.
• Understanding of, and adherence to construction procedure and safety practices.
• Concrete (form, mixing, pouring), minor fill finishing, and basic landscaping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
