The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential and commercial, buildings. *Duties* - Use hand tools to assemble, install, and repair pipes and pipe fittings - Perform heavy lifting as required for plumbing materials - Maintain and repair plumbing systems in line with codes - Knowledge of HVAC systems and how they relate to plumbing - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics - Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other construction professionals - Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues - Perform basic math calculations for measurements and materials *Skills* - Proficiency in using hand tools specific to plumbing tasks - Ability to plumb, assemble, and install piping systems effectively - Capability to handle heavy lifting associated with plumbing materials - Strong maintenance skills for repairing plumbing systems - Familiarity with HVAC systems and their interaction with plumbing - Understanding of reading blueprints and schematics - Collaboration skills to work with other construction professionals like carpenters - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting plumbing issues effectively - Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour Additional pay: - Bonus pay - Retention bonus - Signing bonus Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Evening shift - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Weekends as needed Experience: - plumbing: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
