South East Ventilation Ltd. o/a South East Mechanical continues to grow and expand our plumbing division, We Love Plumbing Ltd. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Journeyman / Foreman or Level 3–4 Apprentice with strong experience to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both leadership and hands-on work, with a strong background in residential housing and commercial construction, and is open to out-of-town work as part of a full-time position, with out of town incentives.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will help lead plumbing job sites, support field teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. While this is a full-time role, a portion of the work will involve out-of-town projects, requiring flexibility and a willingness to travel.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Leadership & Management
Lead and supervise plumbing crews on residential and commercial job sites
Plan daily and weekly work activities and assign tasks to apprentices
Act as the main on-site point of contact for Project Managers and other trades
Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship
Technical & Field Work
Perform and oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide direction to team members
Safety, Quality & Accountability
Enforce company safety policies and site-specific requirements
Ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications
Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
Track materials, tools, and equipment usage
What We’re Looking For
Journeyman Plumber certification (Red Seal preferred)
OR
Level 3 or 4 Apprentice with strong relevant experience
Proven experience in residential housing and commercial plumbing
Experience leading or assisting in managing job sites is an asset
Willingness to travel for out-of-town work
Strong work ethic, leadership mindset, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s licenseWhat We Offer
