We are seeking a skilled maritime professional to fill the role of Manager, Ship Inspection. This is a critical position that requires strong leadership and technical expertise. As a manager, you will oversee the delivery of marine certification services and develop effective procedures to support both the Ship Inspection team and our Inspectorate teams.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of training programs for inspectors conducting port and flag state vessel inspections;

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective procedures and guidance material are in place;

Provide technical subject matter expertise and participate in national and international forums;

Contribute to the development of service agreements with recognised organisations;

Make informed decisions regarding exemptions and equivalences.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you should have:

A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience;

Strong knowledge of maritime legislation and regulations;

Leadership and management skills, with experience in a senior role;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
