Job Title: Product Engineer
About the Role:
• The Product Engineer will act as a bridge between engineering and product teams, taking ownership of features from conception to launch.
• This individual contributor role requires someone who can deeply understand product requirements, implement end-to-end solutions, and coordinate effectively while maintaining focus on user experience and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Ownership: Bridge the gap between engineering and product requirements, deeply understanding product vision, business logic, and end-user needs
• Feature Development: Design and implement end-to-end features, handling both technical and product-centric aspects throughout the entire lifecycle
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Own feature testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure robust product delivery
• Technical Strategy: Make architectural and technology choices aligned with product goals while ensuring best practices and code maintainability
• Stakeholder Communication: Translate business/product requirements for engineering teams and collaborate with backend developers, designers, PMs, and stakeholders
• Process & Documentation: Establish efficient team workflows and document systems/features for both engineering and product stakeholders
• Coordination & Communication: Coordinate engineering activities and ensure seamless collaboration between technical and product teams
• Experimentation Culture: Instill feedback-driven development and experimentation culture across product and engineering teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to product management or project coordination
• Strong coding skills in both backend and frontend technologies (Node.js, Python, React, etc.)
• Experience with API development, integration, and database management
• Product thinking with strong mindset for user experience and business value
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Notion)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and coordinate engineering workflows
• Understanding of testing frameworks, quality assurance processes, and feature validation

Qualifications:
• Relevant project experience in automotive or electric vehicle domains through coursework, competitions, hobby projects, or internships.
• Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems, mechanical components, or production processes in the automotive field.
• Proficiency in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and a passion for driving sustainable innovation.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and a learning-oriented mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
