DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
This role requires a high level of technical expertise in database administration, including experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of database security, performance tuning, and backup and recovery procedures. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in database administration, with a strong background in cloud-based platforms such as Azure. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale database systems, as well as providing input on database design and architecture. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues. They will also be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and have a strong attention to detail.
