Your Opportunity.

As an ambitious Senior Account Executive at Thrive you will play an important role on some of the agency's most prestigious and highest profile brands in the world along with a local portfolio of accounts. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with one of the region's most revered public relations agencies learning the fundamentals of best practice and progressive public relations in traditional and new media.

You will work with some of the world's biggest brands in corporate, consumer, tech, travel and tourism, automotive and more : Thrive has an unrivalled portfolio representing DoorDash, Afterpay, Slyp, LEGO and others
You will have the opportunity to be a part of a team of specialists executing creative and strategic communications and being involved with all aspects of execution and client servicing

Learn professional communications skills from how to manage quality relationships with your clients, to how to problem solve and provide client counsel, how to cut through with stories in earned and owned media, how to effectively brainstorm and come up with killer ideas through to campaign analysis and reporting
Actively build your own network - seek out and develop relationships with media and key influencers

In this role you will work with some of the smartest PR & social consultants in the country while contributing to a number of clients who respect and value the work we do. You are exceptional at proactive team communication, spontaneous with ideas, a solid writer and will invest time growing your local media network and leveraging the extensive community around Thrive. You love keeping your finger on the pulse with daily news, love researching and are flexing your muscle in media relations. You love the thrill of delivering high profile events with influencers and integrated social/digital and are curious to learn more about new business preparation within the agency. You will love ideating and learning how to dial up your creative skills and you will also have a genuine interest in protecting and building brand reputations.

Requirements


Your experience, approach & impact.

The Senior Account Executive is a dynamic individual who exudes a passion for PR and a hunger for success. Working closely with your account team, you SAE will have some experience and exposure to the key sectors in which Thrive operates, along with a good understanding of the local market. You will participate in, and have some responsibility with regards to representing Thrive at industry events and other functions.

Minimum of 4+ years of experience in an agency, media or inhouse communications role
You share our values : you're passionate, accountable, curious, of high integrity and you thrive on collaboration with a #OneTeam approach
You are positive, have an energetic approach to your work and are a natural problem solver
You have engaged in some media relations work and understand the media landscape in Aus
You hustle internally and externally to get the job done for your team and clients
