Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive math curricula tailored to early childhood education standards and individual student needs.
Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate innovative learning technology and hands-on activities to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts.
Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and informal assessments.
Provide additional support through tutoring or small group instruction to help students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and school-wide initiatives such as literacy education and library services.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavioral concerns, and ways to support learning at home.
Skills

Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in private or Montessori schools.
Strong knowledge of math concepts appropriate for early childhood development and childhood education best practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and school administrators.
Proficiency in learning technology tools used for lesson planning, instructional delivery, and assessment purposes.
Ability to manage classrooms confidently while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity and respect.
Experience with curriculum development, literacy education, standardized testing preparation, and behavior management strategies.
