Backend Architect

This is a challenging role for an experienced software engineer who will be responsible for architecting, designing and implementing complex backend integration solutions. As a technical leader, you will define the solution roadmap, determine the resources needed to execute it, and lead the development and delivery of multiple integration products.
Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with 8+ years of experience in building high-traffic, high-performance solutions that provide enriched data back to engineering systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in service-oriented architecture, including REST and GraphQL APIs, as well as experience with web frameworks like Django, FastAPI, Flask, Spring, Grails, and Struts.
• Design and deliver high-traffic, high-performance solutions to provide enriched data back to engineering systems.
• Define egress strategies and architectures to expose analytical data from the public cloud.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering partners to define architecture and implement solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A graduate degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one language such as Python, Go, Java.
• Experience in leading design and implementation of medium to large-scale complex projects.
• Experience building high performance, scalable and fault-tolerant services and applications.
