Your Role
As a Principal Domain Architect for Cloud Platform, you’ll be responsible for identifying business capabilities, products, and services for your domain, as well as defining strategies and roadmaps in collaboration with Product Owners.
Your role will involve designing and managing the solution architecture for various projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with established standards, strategies, and roadmaps.
You’ll ensure that services achieve the desired outcomes, work with stakeholders to prioritise tasks. Furthermore, you'll drive the delivery of secure, scalable digital experiences for customers, colleagues, and partners, while supporting Technology’s strategic goals.

This is a permanent role, offers a flexible hybrid work model. We welcome applicants from Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne)

About You
Extensive experience in domain / enterprise / solution / technology architecture space in a large organisation, preferably financial industry
Deep cloud experience across AWS, GCP or Azure (multi-cloud preferred)
Ability to work across cloud vendors and objectively leverage the strengths of each
Strong understanding of architectural design methodologies and best practices.
Broad knowledge across multiple IT domains, including cloud computing, networking, data management, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
Knowledge of cloud-native technologies.
Experience with IaaS, serverless, and container-based platforms in regulated environments
Strong consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills
A strategic, win/win mindset grounded in delivery
Commercial acumen when dealing with vendors
Experience applying DevSecOps practices and exploring GenAI use cases
Comfort engaging from exec level through to engineers
Ability to analyse complex domains and design effective solutions.
Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills for senior-level executives.
Natural curiosity and a continuous learning mindset. Comfortable with rapid context switching.
Experience building high-performing teams and guiding complex change
Experience with formal architectural methods for eg. TOGAF
Cloud certifications and network experience are advantageous.
