Principal Software Engineer - JavaScript - Multi-Tenant Platform (Publishing Platform) - Remote

This will be a Remote Role (UK Based) - They do have a London office where they do meet on occasion.

The Job

Working as a Principal Engineer your job will be working with the Principal Architect and be at the forefront of a ground-breaking transformation in the tech landscape using;

Svelte, React, Vue, AWS, Cloudflare, Node.js, Typescript, and more (you will have input here)

In this job you will be building a centralised platform for multiple brands across countries with a unified CMS, ensuring site visibility and exploring diverse traffic sources. You will be establishing a culture focused on dashboards, metrics, and design review boards and addressing challenges in scaling content delivery and streamlining engineering workflows.

Developing and scaling a new publishing platform to reach over a billion users annually across 106 countries.

Delivering a white-label, multi-tenant web platform, integrating cutting-edge practices in global scale content management, UX design, and Domain Driven Design.

Reforming our acquisition and customer engagement models on our platforms, to maximise customer experience & SEO performance.

Principal level software engineering skills with proficiency in Web Application Frameworks (Svelte, React, Vue), Node.js/Typescript.

About You

You will be at the forefront of creating innovative solutions that shape the future of affiliate marketing, brainstorming and designing ways to make the platform even better. Guiding light for the team, helping navigate complex software challenges, and ensuring top-notch solutions are being built.

With proven experience as a Principal Engineer spearheading large-scale software projects and crafting distributed, highly-available, customer-facing platforms. You should have a versatile skill set encompassing full-stack software engineering (Svelte, React, Vue, Node.js, Typescript).

You essentially will be the captain of the tech ship, steering towards their goals by setting the course for the technical roadmap and ensuring it matches their business objectives. As the platform's guardian angel, always keep an eye on performance and security to ensure a seamless experience for the users, and always evaluate how they're doing, proposing improvements, and making sure delivery is as best as possible.

Salary

£110,000 - £130,000 + a great package + bonus
