Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Lead to join our startup, an online marketplace for home interior design services. The candidate must have a strong background in procure-to-pay processes, as well as experience with Excel and Google Sheets. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from sourcing and selecting suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and agreements, and manage vendor relationships. Manage the procure-to-pay process, including purchase order creation, invoice processing, and payment reconciliation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements, specifically in areas such as Marketing, IT, CAPEX, and OPEX. Build and maintain a strong supplier base, conducting supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Create and maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations related to procurement and vendor management. Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Work closely with the Finance team to develop and manage procurement budgets for different functions, optimizing spending while maintaining quality. Monitor and track procurement expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and proposing strategies to minimize procurement costs. Utilize Excel and Google Sheets proficiently to analyze procurement data, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-driven decision-making. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and supplier performance, presenting insights to the management team. Provide guidance and support to other team members on procurement-related matters. Continuously improve procurement processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field

5+ years experience in years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in the

procure-to-pay process and experience in buying functions such as Marketing, IT, CAPEX, and

OPEX ,preferably in a startup or e-commerce environment.
Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay processes and best practices Experience with Excel and Google Sheets Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
