Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a passionate and talented Product Designer II to supporting and improving our enterprise admin, end-user, and mobile experiences. Our ideal candidate delivers solutions that balance out business objectives and user needs. We appreciate designers who leverage research findings, have a good sense of humor, and love collaborating with service designers, UX designers, UI designers, product and engineering teams.
What you will do:
• Serve as a key contributor and proponent of user-centered design within and outside the company.
• Advocate for users and the role of design in the product development process.
• Communicate cross-functionally to problem solve, offer solutions, develop strategy, research and ensure UI/UX pattern alignment across platforms and products.
• Play an active role throughout the product lifecycle, including advising in identifying product requirements, designing flows, and reviewing builds.
• Translate complex content and information systems into simplified user experiences.
• Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for various platforms (e.g., web, mobile, and desktop).
• Take ownership over designs, decisions, and deliverables.
• Offer design guidance to and mentor junior designers.
Who we’re looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in visual design, interaction design, human factors, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4-5 years of user experience (UX) for multiple products, including experience in:
• Leading and facilitating working sessions and workshops.
• Leading design projects
• User-centered design methods and techniques (e.g., user research and testing, data analysis, customer journey maps, etc.)
• Designing software applications for web, mobile, desktop applications.
• Working in Agile environments using management and issue tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to create: wireframes and prototypes, using industry tools (e.g., Figma, XD, Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of web technologies and frameworks; experience with front-end coding and UI Design or extensive user research experience a plus.
