• Job Description- Product Manager
Job Summary: The Product Manager for products in the digital marketing media industry is responsible for driving the strategy, development, and success of solutions tailored to meet the needs of digital marketing professionals and media companies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding market trends, and ensuring the product aligns with the company's goals and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the digital marketing media industry Identify opportunities for product improvement or new feature development based on market insights.
Product Strategy: Develop a clear product vision and strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals. Define and prioritize product features and enhancements, creating a roadmap for product development. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including marketing professionals, media agencies, and customers, to gather and prioritize product requirements.
Product Development: Collaborate with Tech teams and design teams to translate requirements into user stories, design mockups, and technical specifications. Maintain a prioritized backlog of development tasks and facilitate sprint planning.
Product Launch and Adoption: Plan and execute product launches, including creating marketing collateral and training materials. Drive user adoption and monitor product performance post-launch. User Feedback and Iteration: Collect and analyze user feedback, making data-driven decisions to improve the product. Iterate on product features and enhancements based on user needs and market dynamics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer support, and other teams to ensure product success. Provide input for pricing and packaging strategies. Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product. Monitor and report on product performance to senior management.
Compliance and Security: Ensure that the product complies with industry regulations and security standards, especially in the handling of sensitive data.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Product Manager in the SaaS industry, with a focus on digital marketing or media products. Strong understanding of digital marketing media technologies, trends, and industry challenges. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Proficiency in agile development methodologies. Familiarity with data analytics and user research techniques. Technical background and understanding of software development processes is beneficial.
