We’re currently recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager to join the Product Marketing Team in Retirement Solutions.

The Role
You will be responsible for the creation and management of product marketing collateral and content to launch and promote retirement income solutions to our key audiences, including customers and advisers, achieving the desired external market positioning of the products.
Working closely with product colleagues and other teams within our business you will help shape product marketing communications and manage the go to market plans for new product launches. You will ensure, through research insights, that communications are successful, deliver high impact and support commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the end-to-end development and sign off of product marketing collateral.
• Building strong relationships with business stakeholders to enable collaboration and buy-in
• Partnering with the SL marketing team and Channel marketing teams for timely delivery of high impact product communications
• Reporting on results and progress against plan, for each activity within plan and against budget on a monthly and quarterly basis (as a minimum) and as required
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of end customer and intermediary needs and behaviours, so that communications are tailored to reflect these needs.
• Commissioning research to ensure that product literature aligns to Consumer Duty regulations.
Essential
What We’re Looking For
• Experience and knowledge of the pensions industry; pension and investment products. (If you do not have this specific experience you must come from a regulated business background)
• Relevant B2B2C marketing experience
• Ability to work on, and at times lead multiple activities at one time and manage own workload and the activity of others.
• Ability to translate data or research into compelling insights and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, persuade and influence in a matrix structure
• Highly organised with the ability to manage and deliver projects to tight deadlines, both directly, through agencies and with the marketing team
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, within immediate team and across other business divisions
• Adept at writing and updating product literature
Desirable
• Keen interest in and aptitude for understanding the products and services offered by the business, as well as the market sector
