Position Title: Food Marketplaces Manager

Department: Sales and Marketing

Location: Any city

Job Overview:

The Multi-City Food Delivery Marketplace Manager is responsible for overseeing the business operations, sales, and marketing of multiple restaurant outlets across various third-party food delivery apps & marketplaces for outlets in different cities. This role focuses on driving sales growth, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring optimal performance on each marketplace. The manager will work closely with internal teams, marketplace account managers, and external partners to optimise listings, manage inventory, and execute marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketplace Management:
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share on third-party platforms such as Swiggy, Zomato, Pincode, Magicpin & others.
• Manage and optimise product listings across various apps & marketplaces.
• Monitor and analyse marketplace performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Set and achieve sales targets for each marketplace and outlet.

Product Listings Optimization:
• Optimise restaurant listings, menus, and visuals to attract and retain customers.
• Create and optimise product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, and keywords to enhance visibility and conversion rates.
• Ensure all product information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with marketplace guidelines.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings on each platform.

Marketing & Promotions:
• Design and execute promotional campaigns and special offers to drive traffic and sales on food delivery apps.
• Analyse the impact of pricing and promotional strategies on sales performance.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as up-time, customer ratings, order volumes, and delivery times for each outlet.
• Generate regular performance reports and present findings to senior management.
• Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends and position the brand effectively.

Collaboration with dark store team:
• Monitor the up-time, key performance parameters of individual dark store.
• Provide training & oversight to dark store teams as needed.
• Work closely with the dark store team to review performance, share best practices, and address challenges.

Partnership Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party food delivery platforms to secure optimal visibility and promotional opportunities.
• Address and resolve any operational issues with delivery partners promptly.

Customer Experience & Retention:
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and addressing customer feedback & complaints.
• Implement personalised promotions to improve customer retention.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and use insights to drive improvements.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate supply of products to all outlets.
• Manage order processing, fulfilment, and returns to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Optimise supply chain operations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure all outlets comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Promote a culture of safety and hygiene across all operations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in the food delivery or restaurant industry.
• Strong understanding of food delivery platforms, digital marketing, and sales optimization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in sales and marketing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to different cities as required.
