Part of our mobility division is 'Siemens Rolling Stock and Customer Services' who are a global leader in the design, supply, commissioning, testing and maintenance of rolling stock. Providing many different types of rolling stock for a diverse rail network, servicing communities across the UK. We are at the cutting edge of railway technology advancement, increasing the safety and capacity of the railway through new systems.

• Assisting in delivering our operational commitments.
• Developing knowledge and skills in the preparation of maintenance plans, project programmes, specifications and system design to ensure these are delivered to time, quality, and cost parameters.
• Building a working knowledge of our products, systems and strategies for implementation.
• Preparing and maintaining team resource schedules to identify resource utilisation and work with our team of planners and production managers.
• Participating and engaging in the Continuous Improvement of the project identifying efficiencies in execution while promoting engineering excellence, through the adoption of new processes tools and methods of working
• Engaging with multiple disciplines across a several functions to deliver maximum impact.
Essential Skills and Attributes
We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
• Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:1 or above in an engineering related degree.
• Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
• Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
• Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
