Job Overview
As a Registered Nurse Midwife at State Government Of Victoria, Australia, you will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated team providing high-quality service and care to women and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, evaluate, and maintain a high standard of midwifery care to achieve desired clinical outcomes
Recognize the needs and acknowledge the culture, values, and dignity of all patients and their families
Empower all people and their families within a service that embraces continuity of philosophy and consistency of advice and information
Provide direct patient care through a consumer-centred approach and within the scope of practice
Work across all areas of maternity, including Antenatal Care, Birth, Postnatal Care, and Neonatal Nursery care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, applicants must have registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and hold relevant postgraduate qualifications in midwifery. Additionally, they must demonstrate competency in clinical practice and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels while providing high-quality nursing care.
