Job Summary
The University of Miami seeks a skilled Biostatistics Assistant Director to lead our team of biostatisticians, statisticians, and data analysts. As a key member of our department, you will provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of statistical services.

About the Role
Leadership and Management: Set departmental goals, allocate resources, and oversee the implementation of statistical analyses using software packages such as SAS, R, or SPSS.
Study Design and Analysis: Collaborate with researchers to design research studies, clinical trials, or experiments, and develop appropriate statistical methodologies and data analysis plans.
Data Management: Ensure the quality, integrity, and security of data used in statistical analyses, and develop and implement data collection, cleaning, and validation procedures.
Statistical Consulting: Provide expert statistical advice and support to researchers, clinicians, and other professionals, and communicate statistical findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
Experience in leadership and management, study design, data management, and statistical consulting.
Strong knowledge of statistical software packages such as SAS, R, or SPSS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
