The pay range for this position is $17.81 - $23.3+ per hour
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Division of State Police, has a part-time vacancy for Program Assistant I, SOC Title 43-3060 PROCUREMENT CLERKS-1. This is a part time position and cannot exceed 2+.5 hours per week.
SUMMARY: To compile and report information to monitor the repair to fleet vehicles and to issue equipment and uniforms for the Division of State Police.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS:
Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency credential. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Three years of experience associated with procurement activities requiring knowledge of methods and techniques used in centralized purchasing and basic accounts payable/receivable.
License/Certification: None required.
Special Requirements: Selected candidate will undergo a fingerprint based criminal background check and motor vehicle record check in order to ensure suitability for exposure to confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of data entry experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates Division fleet vehicle repairs by communicating with insurance companies and repair shops to ensure proper processing of required paperwork and schedules repairs accordingly. Compiles reports of associated data to track repairs.
Assists with assessing equipment and vehicle inventory, cruiser accident data, other related operational data that affects reporting and planning of bureau processes for the Business & Projects Administration Bureau.
Processes requests for supplies by compiling items and ensuring delivery to appropriate locations for the Division.
Utilizes computer software to assess clothing and vehicle needs for all Division personnel to guarantee adequate level of supplies to meet operational needs.
Assists with monitoring the registration, inspection and upkeep of the Division fleet for both patrol and unmarked vehicles by coordinating the scheduling of personnel and automotive facilities statewide for service.
Assists with the evaluation of vehicle warrantees and makes recommendations for service and repair to the Automotive Garage or Division leadership on required maintenance.
Maintains records within various systems of equipment and supplies requested, ordered, and distributed to ensure accurate records for reporting.
Assists with the yearly physical inventory of all reportable assets for the Division of State Police as required by MOP 2400 Fiscal Year Closing Requirements.
