Job Title: Project Coordinator
Department: Project Management
Reports To: Project Manager, Project Lead
Job Summary: The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the successful planning and execution of construction projects. This position involves coordinating project activities, managing project documentation, and assisting in financial management tasks. The Project Coordinator collaborates closely with the Project Manager and various stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved within established parameters.
The Project Coordinator shall utilize the company’s software to effectively manage and report on the project through its entirety.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning Support:
Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Contribute to the creation of comprehensive project documentation.
Financial Management:
Work closely with the Project Manager/Project Lead to develop and manage project budgets.
Track project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
Process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and updates for stakeholders.
Resource Coordination:
Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Maintain up-to-date records of resource availability and usage.
Manage remote camp lodging for trades.
Communication and Documentation:
Act as a liaison between project team members, clients, and subcontractors.
Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
Timeline Management:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
Monitor project progress against timelines and report any deviations.
Quality Assurance Support:
Contribute to the implementation of quality control measures.
Assist in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and project specifications.
Change Management:
Support the evaluation and management of changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
Communicate changes effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
Issue Resolution:
Identify and escalate project issues to the Project Manager for resolution.
Collaborate with the team to find effective solutions to challenges.
Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Compile financial reports, budget updates, and cost analyses.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a project coordination role, within the construction industry.
Familiarity with project management principles and project task management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong command of the english language is a must.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with project management software (Autodesk Cloud, Procore).
Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices.
Previous exposure to project management tools and methodologies.
Experince in developing COR certification documentation.
Working Conditions:

Pay: $43,808.03-$60,000.00 per year
