Responsibilities
As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
You will prepare and analyze budgets, perform general bookkeeping, and manage all financial transactions from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets
You will also be expected to improve our current accounting procedures and control systems
Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts
Manage the full cycle of accounting activities for the company, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and monthly/year-end close processes
Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments
Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins
Oversee the preparation and management of company budgets
Implement and adhere to company's accounting policies and procedures
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Evaluate and manage risk
Ensure compliance with state revenue service, federal, and state requirements
Stay updated on industry trends and changes related to accounting laws and regulations

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Permanent Staff Accountant for our fast-paced engineering firm. As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
