What you will do
As a Project Lead within our Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a hands-on role in executing day-to-day project activities, ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and budgets. Your work will directly support initiatives that contribute to VGA’s strategic priorities and long-term goals.


Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Executing and coordinating assigned projects in alignment with approved plans, using Volvo Group project management tools and templates
Conducting pre-studies and feasibility assessments to support project scoping
Preparing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and action trackers
Organising and documenting project meetings, decisions, risks, and follow-up actions
Coordinating with internal stakeholders to support timely delivery of project tasks and milestones
Tracking project performance against defined KPIs and timelines
Assisting in the preparation of updates, dashboards, and reports for the Director PMO and Executive Leadership Team
Supporting coordination of sustainability-related reporting, dashboard development, and data tracking
Contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the PMO team
Your future team
Join our dynamic and newly established Project Management Office (PMO) team, based full-time at our Wacol Head Office. Reporting directly to the Director of PMO, this team plays a vital role within our Business Development and Sales Support functions. As part of this strategic unit, you’ll collaborate with our Market Intelligence, Product & Performance team, and Truck Sales Support Centre. Together, we’re focused on driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and enabling sustainable growth. Our PMO team is dedicated to turning business opportunities into long-term strategic initiatives. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values forward-thinking, continuous improvement, and making a measurable impact across the organisation.

Who are you?

Proven experience in business analysis and project coordination / management within a large commercial business
Proficiency in project planning, documentation and reporting tools (eg. Microsoft Office suite)
Experience in process improvement and cross-functional team coordination
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including preparation of Executive-ready materials
Exposure to sustainability-related reporting or coordination will be advantageous, to align with VGA’s sustainability journey
Project Management certification or training will be advantageous
