Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee single family home construction projects at various sites around Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of project management principles, particularly within the construction industry. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, adherence to timelines, and the ability to manage resources efficiently.

Duties

Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
Utilize project management tools such ClickUp
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources while maintaining quality standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during construction.
Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity among team members.
Prepare detailed project documentation including reports, schedules, and change orders.
Requirements

10 years proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, civil engineering principles, and schematic design.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration, communication and customer service.
Reside in the Cowichan Valley area, Vancouver Island
