Position Overview
The Landscape Project Manager is responsible for managing landscape projects from conception to completion. This role ensures top-quality standards, enforces safety compliance, and prioritizes client satisfaction throughout every phase of the project. Additionally, during the off-season, the position involves extensive preparation for the upcoming season and may evolve to include responsibilities in snow removal record-keeping, safety oversight, and site inspections.
Key Skills and Qualifications
● Strong leadership and communication skills.
● At least 1 year experience of landscaping design, construction, and
maintenance.
● Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and permit
requirements.
● Ability to read and interpret Real Property Reports.
● Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Primary Responsibilities
● Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
● Coordinate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and expectations.
● Plan and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
● Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations.
● Conduct site visits daily or every other day to maintain open communication
with clients.
● Communicate with assigned contractors to monitor project progress.
● Obtain and manage material lists from contractors.
● Ensure workplace safety and enforce PPE and company apparel policies.
● Act as the primary point of contact for clients, directing communication
through the office to prevent missed messages.
● Address client concerns promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
● Maintain project documentation, including permits and change orders.
● Prepare and send progress emails and photos to keep clients informed.
● Track project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
● Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent workplace injuries.
● Address site concerns related to landscaping work.
● Conduct final inspections and walkthroughs with clients to ensure all tasks are
completed before project closure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
