We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the network that powers the world’s largest online services. For this position, the candidate should be familiar with network protocols, network devices including network interface cards, switches, and routers. You should feel comfortable working with large-scale distributed systems, in managing the network infrastructure that supports the Azure Cloud infrastructure as well as in designing and building the large-scale distributed systems that manage the network.
We are looking for Network Engineers at all experience levels for Microsoft India development center in Hyderabad.
Responsibilities
• Applies knowledge of network technologies to contribute to network design, implementation, and operation.
• Translates high-level designs for datacenters or network sites into low-level designs and collaborates with internal teams and external partners to facilitate the development, expansion, or modification of network infrastructure within existing datacenters or network sites.
• Triages, troubleshoots, and repairs live site issues by applying an understanding of network, its components and features as well as problem management tools (e.g., root cause analysis, trend analysis, postmortems), to discover and drive solutions with minimal or no disruption to customers; participates in on-call/DRI duties to troubleshoot incidents in production.
• Collaborates with teams across the organization to support and manage network deployments; works with machine-readable definitions to manage deployments.
• Analyzes capacity issues across basic transfer protocols and identifies network components that may need to be modified or replaced; provides recommended changes to hardware and/or network components to internal teams working with external partners and suppliers to improve capacity.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience with (including but not limited to) any of the following networking protocols:
• Layer7:Application (HTTP, HTTPS)
• Layer4:Transport & security (TCP/UDP, TLS,VPN)
• Layer3:IPv4, IPv6 and routing
• Proficient computer science fundamentals, fluent in concepts like multi-threading and asynchronous programming, good grasp of system design, data structures and algorithms
• Experience in one of C#, C++, Golang, JAVA, RUST
• Proficient skills in Distributed systems and building cloud services
• Experience with creating and operating distributed services in Azure/AWS/GCP and/or competitive offerings
• Familiarity with Application (HTTP, HTTPS), transport & security (TCP/UDP, TLS) protocols

The ideal candidate must be experienced: As a PM working in Human Capital Management or Advisory Services supporting HR Services/Payroll, Compensation, Benefits and or Talent and must be PMI certified within the last 3 years Leading cross-functional, global projects and executing corporate-wide initiatives to deliver high-impact strategic initiatives and managing associated organizational change leveraging a consistent governance approach Design of defined project plans, coordination of resources, managing implementation activities on time and on budget, developing all processes associated with program rollout and ensuring ongoing support of project owners and team members Communicating with and influencing senior management to include delivering various and timely reports and presentations Working in a fast paced, data driven and global environment; capable to drive simplicity and consistency – removing obstacles for and across teams Ensures that the project plan delivers expected results and that milestones are clear and can be tracked, and delivered on time, on scope, on budget.
