Project Officer
Infrastructure Strategy and Governance
Location – Sydney CBD (Haymarket)
Employment type – Temporary Opportunity (up to 12 months with possibility of extension)
Salary – $110,266 - $122,058 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation, annual leave loading
Your role
Step into a rewarding role to support the project functions within the Infrastructure Strategy & Governance team of the Contracts and Commissioning branch in Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) to manage a range of large projects that contribute to the improvement of service delivery.
You will be working in a team that is focused on developing a culture of performance and which is innovative in its approach to what works.
What you’ll do
Undertake administrative, secretariat and project support functions within the Infrastructure Strategy and Governance team of the Contracts and Commissioning Branch to manage a range of large and complex projects and contribute to the improvement of service delivery
Assist in managing infrastructure projects designed to review, monitor and improve the effectiveness of service delivery
Manage a range of strategic infrastructure projects
Undertake research and analysis to support the development of key projects within Contracts and Commissioning
Prepare a range of project related documents as instructed, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers.
What we’re looking for
A proactive and dedicated individual with a background in infrastructure related projects
You have some project management experience and an ability to work under tight timeframes, whilst handling multiple priorities
Persuasive communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills are essential.

Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
