About the role:
The Project Officer sits within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Governance and Accountability Branch of the Department of Health.
Supporting the delivery of Gambling Harm Prevention and Response (GHPR) activities, the Project Officer role has broad responsibilities working with other members across the division to primarily support GHPR system users, carry out system administration, business analysis and data analysis activities.
The Project Officer will be the subject matter expert who provides system support through the service desk on incident and issue management, business process, data recording practices, reporting and data analysis. The role will work with other members of the team to define, review, test and implement system, reporting and data collection changes, undertake defined system admin activities and assist in the enforcement of security protocols and controls. The role is pivotal in the identification of system improvement opportuities.

Experienced in providing IT system users with outstanding support experiences
Detail oriented and process driven to identify and assist with the definition and implementation of system changes to optimise the delivery of public facing mental health and gambling support services
A collaborative, enthusiastic team-player who is committed to driving improvement on various projects across the division
