Job Description

Property Management Administrator

(Results-Oriented | Growth Path to Admin Manager)
Downtown Vancouver – 997 Seymour Street
Full-Time | In-Office (Non-Remote)
$50,000–$60,000 per year (based on progression to manager level)

About this position:

We are a licensed property management brokerage in British Columbia seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven Property Management Administrator.

This is not a passive clerical role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, follows tasks through to completion, and cares about accuracy, timelines, and outcomes. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear pathway to an Admin Manager position with increased responsibility and compensation.

You will support the day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational functions of our residential property portfolio and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative support for property management operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through
Rent collection tracking and follow-up, including monitoring arrears and ensuring issues are addressed promptly
Preparing leases, renewals, and tenancy documentation with minimal errors
Preparing and issuing Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) notices in compliance with BC legislation
Preparing move-in and move-out packages
Coordinating and assisting with move-in / move-out inspections
Processing client charges, recoveries, and tenant-related billings accurately and on time
Processing tenant deposit refunds, including reconciliations and required documentation
Maintaining clean, organized, and up-to-date tenant, property, and financial records
Communicating professionally and efficiently with tenants, contractors, and internal team members
Assisting with invoices and accounting-related administration
Supporting high-volume month-end and beginning-of-month workflows
Taking on increasing responsibility over time, including oversight of other administrative staff, as the role progresses toward Admin Manager
What We’re Looking For

Strong attention to detail — mistakes create real-world consequences in this role
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without constant supervision
High level of reliability, accountability, and ownership
Results-oriented mindset: tasks are expected to be completed, not just started
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable handling confidential and financial information
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Experience

Property management experience is a strong asset, but not required
Familiarity with the BC Residential Tenancy Act is an advantage
Administrative, real estate, or office management experience preferred
Candidates with strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn will be considered
Work Schedule & Location

Full-time, in-office position (non-remote)
Monday to Friday, approximately 8 working hours per day
Some work required outside standard hours, particularly at month-end and month-beginning, to support move-outs and move-ins
Office location: 997 Seymour Street, Downtown Vancouver
Compensation & Growth

Starting salary: $50,000 per year
Salary progression up to $60,000 per year upon advancement to Admin Manager
Performance-based growth tied to responsibility, reliability, and results
Why Join Us?

Clear advancement opportunity into management
Work in a licensed BC property management brokerage with established systems
Role suited for someone who wants responsibility, growth, and accountability
Long-term career opportunity in a stable, professional organization
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
