Qualifications And Skills
• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is a plus
Roles And Responsibilities
• Source and purchase materials, products, and services to meet the company's operational needs
• Collaborate with internal teams to determine materials and specifications required for production
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
• Negotiate and secure favorable pricing and terms with suppliers
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders or deliveries
• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions
• Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers
• Research and identify potential new suppliers
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to optimize purchasing decisions
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding purchasing and procurement
Must have knowledge of electrical items and project work experience
