Job Description:
We are seeking an individual from Skincare or Cosmetics who can assist R&D Department in handling and overseeing all product development and operational activities.
As an Operations and Vendor Management Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all our product-related operations and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors.
You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of operations, including procurement, vendor search, order management, logistics, safe storage of raw materials, vendor performance management, and contract negotiation.
Qualification:
0-2 years Experience in Vendor Management, Purchasing, Operations, and Procurement.
A graduate with an Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take initiative.
Strong ability to research, attention to detail, and time management skills.
Someone who is hardworking and has a strong ability to organize various tasks and information.
Proven experience in operations management, vendor management, and supply chain management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Proficient in using ERP systems, inventory management software, and other relevant tools.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with vendors, cross-cultural teams, and senior management.
Prior Knowledge of Cross-Country Procurement and handling Vendors around the world, and overall operational effectiveness.
Ability to maintain vendor data, raise PO's and PI's and manage financial information.
Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select vendors & Suppliers for Raw Materials and Packaging with standards, and cost efficiency.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
Arranging Samples for R&D trials and Procuring RAW Materials for Production.
Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and implement improvement strategies as needed.
Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vendor alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
Should have prior Knowledge and experience in handling Customs Streamline and optimizing operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed performance targets improvement.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
Oversee inventory levels, forecasting, and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
Conduct regular inventory audits and implement measures to reduce shrinkage and inventory discrepancies.
Identify operational risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
Implement and maintain business continuity plans to minimize disruption in operations.
