We are seeking a permanent fulltime Purchasing & Sourcing Coordinator to join our friendly and professional procurement team, to be located in our ANZ Northgate Head Office.



Reporting to the Procurement Manager- APAC, this key appointment to our business success will be responsible for a broad range of supply chain/procurement activities, and liaise with external manufacturers and raw material suppliers on a daily basis.



Key responsibilities will include;

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in replenishment and sourcing requirements
Work closely with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to assist as required in processes to assist and qualify order requirements for existing stock lines, New Product Development and Regulatory change projects
Negotiate improved pricing, delivery terms or Minimum Order Quantity as required, in conjunction with the Procurement Manager.
Work with local and international suppliers in the sourcing and acquisition of supplied raw materials as required
Monitor and implement strategies to maintain or improve all ongoing matters that impact the monthly purchasing and planning sequence, for open orders and Vendors to which this role is responsible
Coordinating international freight and liaising with freight forwarder with documentation requirement.
Actively manage categories assigned including analytical assessment and develop strategy plan in ensuring sustainable supply
Initiate and implement strategies of Supplier Relationship Management Program that support principals of cGMP and procurement best practice
Assist as necessary to support the integrity of product database with a particular focus on purchasing policies as outlined within Materials Requirements Planning and other data base functions as required
Administer release of Approved Purchase Orders in accordance with Delegation of Authority limits
Vendor management practices to ensure on time deliveries, in according to specification and enough shelf life


Skills and Experience

A qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Purchasing, Logistics or Procurement or any other business-related field of study- preferred, though not essential
Mature Category Management experience- highly regarded
Experience in purchasing and sourcing in the food or natural medicine industries- highly regarded
Experience working with ERP D365- ideal
