Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and passionate ICT Teacher for our Primary Years Programme. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners to explore technology, foster creativity, and develop critical digital skills in alignment with IB PYP standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Teaching & Learning:
• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate ICT lessons integrating IB PYP principles.
• Develop and implement inquiry-based learning activities using technology.
• Teach foundational digital literacy, coding, and responsible use of technology.
• Curriculum Development:
• Design lesson plans that incorporate transdisciplinary themes.
• Collaborate with homeroom teachers to integrate ICT into various subjects.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in educational technology.
• Student Development:
• Foster creativity and innovation through project-based learning.
• Encourage problem-solving and teamwork using tech tools.
• Support students in developing essential 21st-century skills.
• Technology Integration:
• Guide the use of digital tools and resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Promote safe and ethical use of technology in line with school policies.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or Education (specialization in ICT preferred).
• Teaching certification and experience in PYP/IB schools are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ICT tools, coding platforms, and EdTech resources.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
