Job Title: Python Architect

Experience Required: 12+ years

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer/Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, with significant experience in server-side coding and cloud-based applications. You will play a key role in building reliable, scalable, and flexible software solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices in software design and development.

As a Python Developer/Solution Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications that meet the evolving needs of our business. You should be detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of leading complex projects from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Architect and implement robust solutions using Python, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful Web Services with a focus on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Lead the development and deployment of applications using Microservices architecture.
• Implement containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OCP for deployment and scaling.
• Manage and optimize databases, including SQL, RDBMS, data modeling, and DB design.
• Utilize cloud services (AWS/Azure) to deploy and manage applications effectively.
• Ensure code quality and consistency by using version control tools such as Git/BitBucket.
• Implement and maintain logging mechanisms for error tracking and performance monitoring.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices in coding and software architecture.

Mandatory Skills:
• Python Expertise: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, including classes, collections, NumPy, and pandas.
• SQL & Database Management: Proficient in SQL, RDBMS, data modeling, and database design.
• RESTful Web Services: Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful Web Services within an SOA framework.
• Microservices: In-depth experience in developing and deploying applications using Microservices architecture.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OCP for application deployment and management.
• Unix/Linux: Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux platforms for development and deployment.
• Version Control: Strong understanding of version control principles, with experience using Git or BitBucket.
• Logging: Proven experience with logging mechanisms and tools.
• Cloud Services: Working knowledge of AWS/Azure for deploying and managing cloud-based applications.
