Position Summary
This position expands an existing Bromley UK based development team in supporting a larger set of initiatives in the Non-finance Regulatory Reporting framework at Bank of America.
The primary technologies used by the team are Python and Java. The application technology stack leverages the Firms proprietary Quartz platform and is backed with a broader technical stack including Oracle Exadata, Tableau, Elastic Search, 60 East AMPS.
The role will require designing and developing solutions assurance tools, enhancing automated QA capabilities.
The ideal candidate will join a wider organization which spans the globe in locations including London, New York City, Jersey City, Chicago, India and Singapore.

• NoSQL/Document Oriented databases – Cassandra, MongoDB
• Highly Available/Scalable Search – Elasticsearch
Required Skills.
• Experience of working with enterprise design requirements preferably at a large investment bank
• Experienced Python developer, or similar development language (equivalent Java experience considered as well)
• Fluency in the Python standard libraries
• Experienced in test-driven development/BDD
• Experience with RDBMS, ORM
• Experience with CQRS and related interface standards of REST/HAL
• Experience with MQSeries/AMQ/AMPS or similar event oriented technology
• Understanding concepts of event sourcing and the alternatives
