A reputable and trusted company specializing in quality assurance solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their team in the western suburbs of Melbourne. About the Role
As the Quality Manager, you will oversee the entire quality function of the site, leading the Quality Management System to ensure products and services consistently meet established standards. Reporting to the General Manager of the site, you will build the quality function and have the capability to bring the site on the journey.
To be successful in the role, you will collaborate with the operations and maintenance teams and coordinate with key suppliers to ensure that all services and consumables meet required specifications. Your responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and leading quality audits both internal & external, and implementing corrective actions for any defects identified.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering or related field.
Ideally experience working in a pharmaceutical, medical device or general healthcare environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Comprehensive understanding and experience working with FMP, TGA, AVPMA and ISO Standards.
Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas, negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience in quality management systems, statistical process control, quality improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
