The Quality Assurance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring that exported commodities consistently meet buyer expectations and quality standards. This role involves collecting and analyzing quality data provided by field cargo inspectors, maintaining detailed records for each shipment, and proactively communicating quality-related information to buyers. The coordinator will also address quality claims by thoroughly investigating reported issues, compiling evidence, and collaborating with the Exports Head to resolve disputes effectively. The primary objective is to minimize quality-related claims while maintaining buyer trust and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Collection and Reporting:
· Compile quality-related data from field cargo inspectors for every shipment.
· Prepare and share comprehensive quality reports with buyers prior to shipment.
Claim Management:
· Investigate quality claims with attention to detail, analysing evidence and identifying root causes.
· Present findings, supporting evidence, and corrective measures to the Exports Head for resolution.
· Develop and implement strategies to reduce recurrence of claims.
Communication and Collaboration:
· Provide timely data for all shipments to the buyers and keep a watch on their feedback.
· Coordinate with internal teams to address and resolve quality disputes promptly & professionally.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.·
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.·
• A degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields would be preferred
• Candidate must-have skills for Microsoft Office/Computer/Google spreadsheet.
• The person should be detail-oriented and capable of resolving disputes quickly to maintain buyer trust
