Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Chapter 2 Software. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This position is crucial for maintaining our reputation for excellence in software development.

Responsibilities

Manage JIRA tickets throughout the QA lifecycle, including creation, updating, and resolution
Perform thorough manual testing across multiple platforms and environments
Create and execute detailed test cases and scenarios based on requirements
Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes
Provide clear and concise feedback on user experience and interface design
Requirements

2+ years experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, best practices, and testing techniques
Proficiency with JIRA for defect tracking and test management
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills for effectively documenting issues and collaborating with team members
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
Basic programming/scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with API testing
Knowledge of SQL for database testing

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
