The Lead React Native Developer will play a critical role on development projects for Lab4+ clients. Working in a collaborative and innovative project team, with direct enterprise client-facing interactions, you will have an opportunity to apply your skills and expertise to design sophisticated applications that solve client challenges and enhance outcomes for them and their clients. 

Responsibilities
• You will build applications that push the envelope when it comes to throughput, latency, resiliency, all the while making sure that we deliver on-time and within budget.
• Technical Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear technical vision and strategy for building mobile experiences within the organization. Lead the architectural design and evolution of web experiences to support our growth and innovation goals.
• Team Development: Lead the development of the engineering teams skillsets and growth. Provide continuous support for engineers, allowing the whole team to be productive and execute on the vision that you help define.
• Software Development Leadership: Maintain hands-on involvement in software development, setting best practices, and ensuring high standards of quality. Mentor and guide the development team in implementing complex mobile UI concepts and efficient coding techniques.
• Architecture and System Design: Craft robust, scalable, and flexible mobile application architectures that support the needs of the business while accommodating future growth and technologies. This includes ongoing iteration of the target state architecture based on feedback and learnings.
• Technical Innovation: Identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and practices that can enhance the organization's data capabilities. Lead the adoption of cutting-edge mobile UI technologies, such as code quality tools, static analysis, build time optimization, and run time monitoring.
• Collaboration and Influence: Work closely with product owners, data specialists, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs. Influence decision-making at the highest levels of the company with your technical expertise and vision.
• Performance and Scalability Optimization: Ensure data systems are optimized for performance and scalability. Conduct code reviews, system simulations, and performance testing to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

REQUIREMNENT
• 10+ years working in mobile UI development, 5+ years of commercial-grade React Native development experience. Experience with other hybrid mobile frameworks is not required, but would be helpful.
• Solid skills interacting with multiple types of API formats, preferably REST and GraphQL, but additional skills with Websockets, SSE, RPC would be desired.
• Contribute to the design process from gathering requirements, planning and ideating from the start of a project.
• Demonstrate an understanding of user behavior and how to tailor web experiences to meet the needs of users. Document and share learnings with the broader team.
• Work with designers and other partners to collaborate on design & wireframing and take responsibility for delivering high-quality implementations.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Demonstrable team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of, and strong demonstrated interest in, global financial markets and financial products is a strong plus.
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related work experience.
