Front of House Team Leader

Gosforth (Newcastle) FWC | Front of House | Permanent | Part time

Salary of £24,+80.80 per annum (pro rata)

14 hours per week

As a Front of House/Reception Team Leader at our Gosforth (Newcastle) Fitness and Wellbeing Club, you will have full responsibility for the Reception area and you’ll promote a friendly relaxing and professional environment and ensure all clients receive an exceptional first impression and efficient service.

As a Receptionist and Team Leader, you’ll be the face of Nuffield Health. Sensitive to our clients’ needs, you’ll use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships.

You will also have great communication, IT and keyboard skills. You’re also able to explain sensitive or complicated information in a way that’s clear, sympathetic and easy to understand. Ideally, you have experience of working in healthcare administration or on reception.

As a Front of House Team Leader you will:
• Manage and co-ordinate all training for the reception team to ensure all standards, rules and regulations are followed and maintained.
• Supervise all Reception activities including all information given out, all check–ins and bookings.
• Co-ordinate and manage a team of Receptionists to ensure the highest standards of services to our clients.
• Co-ordinate and manage Reception procedures to ensure that all fees, including guest fees are collected.
• Ensure brand standards are maintained.
• Promote effective communication throughout the club.
• Actively seek to assist colleagues and other departments.
• To provide a friendly efficient reception service, which involves customer contact and the provision of advice.
• To be part of the reception Front of House team numbers and delivery in professional leader standard.
• To ensure that work within the reception meets all required standards and timescales.
• To manage, appraise, and interpret data, information and /or situations.
• To handle all enquires, or queries raised efficiently and effectively, escalating appropriately where necessary.
• To ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
• To prepare standard and ad hoc reports as required by the department.
• To maintain the schedule of keys & signing in and out of contractors, ensuring appropriate records are kept and stored for the specified length of time.
• To take payments from clients in accordance with set procedures, processing payments using appropriate processes and systems, and reconciling monies taken daily.
• To ensure timesheets are completed accurately.
