Job Title: Receptionist
Hourly Rate: $33.50 per hour + super
Work Type: Temporary assignment from 24th March 2025 – 2+th August 2025
Handover: 1 week

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a welcoming and inspiring workplace. You’ll handle diverse tasks from administrative support and facilities management to assisting with office events and catering. Your mission is to ensure seamless office operations, provide exceptional service to staff and visitors, and contribute to a beautiful work environment. The role offers variety and impact, making it a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys dynamic, people-focused work.

DUTIES
Provide a helpful and welcoming experience for all visitors
Maintain a beautiful and well-stocked front of house
Manage starters and leavers processes
Coordinate with internal staff and external contractors
Organise access and ID cards for staff and contractors
Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements
Process purchase orders and invoices
Support with reporting and auditing
Handle mail and manage courier services
Oversee facilities management, including maintenance requests
Actively contribute to team goals and identify improvement opportunities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be well organised and have strong communication skills. You will enjoy building relationships and rapport with a range of stakeholders. You will be an excellent problem solver and able to juggle different priorities.

Experience in front-of-house and reception roles in a corporate environment
Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach
Ability to learn new systems and adapt quickly
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Proactive self-starter with great attention to detail
Experience in facilities support within a fast-paced environment is advantageous
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Events coordination experience desirable, but not essential
