The Role & Your Requirements
About the role
We are currently seeking a Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join our Archerfield QLD branch. Working within the admin area, this role will be primarily responsible for all reception duties as well as taking on some admin related processes.
Key to success in this role will be high level communication skills with an ability to build rapport, a practical approach to solving problems, a motivated high energy personality and a “get it done” attitude.
People, Teamwork & Communication
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as necessary in performance of duties;
Assist the Sales team with machinery sales packs as required;
Assist all office staff in the operation of all office equipment; and
Any other duties/assistance as requested by Management.
Administration
Using switchboard, distribution and screening of all incoming calls;
Greeting guests and assisting with queries;
Ordering of office and stationary supplies;
Maintain records utilising electronic and physical filing;
Manage and keep databases and spreadsheets updated; and
Other Clerical duties as requested.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate must be an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter and will need to possess the following attributes:
Time management skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritise
A high attention to detail
An ability to work unsupervised and/ or under pressure within time frames
Microsoft Office experience
Accounts experience advantageous but not essential
Polite and friendly phone manner
