Job Description

Department: Front Office

Reports To: Badminton Court Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Front Office Staff member to join our team and play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our badminton enthusiasts. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling a variety of tasks related to court reservations, membership management, sales, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Answer inquiries about court availability, pricing, membership options, and badminton equipment rentals (if applicable).
Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and courteously.
Provide excellent badminton-related advice and recommendations to customers of all skill levels.
Court Management:
Manage the badminton court reservation system, both online and in-person.
Process court reservations, including taking payments and issuing receipts.
Allocate badminton courts to players based on reservations and walk-in requests.
Sales and Membership:
Process membership sign-ups and renewals, ensuring accurate data entry.
Promote badminton memberships and court packages to potential customers.
Upsell badminton equipment rentals, merchandise, or other services (if applicable).
Handle cash and cashless transactions efficiently and securely.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of court bookings, memberships, and financial transactions.
Prepare daily reports on court usage, sales, and customer interactions.
Keep the front office area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
May assist with basic badminton court maintenance tasks (sweeping floors, checking net tension) as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
Stay informed about upcoming badminton events, promotions, and badminton rules.
Follow company policies and procedures for safety, security, and cash handling.
Contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer literacy with proficiency in reservation systems and point-of-sale software (a plus).
Positive attitude, enthusiasm for badminton (a plus), and a willingness to learn.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform some light lifting.
