Apex Camps is currently recruiting for a Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our team on the Sunshine Coast

Are you looking for a reception / administration role that goes beyond the usual? We’re seeking an energetic, proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same!
While you’ll be managing traditional front desk and administrative support responsibilities, this role will also challenge you to take on a range of exciting tasks.
This role is a part-time position, with some flexibility for the right candidate.
About Us:
Since 1+83, Apex Camps has been providing outdoor recreation activities. With two diverse and unique purpose-built camp and recreation centres located on the Sunshine Coast and Magnetic Island, we serve a wide range of clients, including schools, youth, church, sporting groups, community groups, businesses and the general public.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Manage reception duties, including answering calls, meeting and greeting visitors and handling enquires.
Maintain a professional and organised reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Providing administrative support to the booking department.
Assisting with general office administration tasks as needed.
If you are someone who enjoys variety, working closely with different teams, and making a real impact, this role is prefect for you. We are looking for someone who can take initiative, multitask, and contribute beyond the typical receptionist duties.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Exceptional customer service skills and experience .
A positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn new tasks.
Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
A high level of professionalism, maturity, and attention to detail.
The ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in MS Office programs and have a high level of computing skills.
Previous office experience is desirable but not essential.
